Alex N. Orsini, MD, FACC Cardiologist
What attracted me to the field of cardiology is the combination of caring for acutely ill patients and then managing their chronic health issues.
After receiving an undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Austin, Dr. Orsini earned his M.D. in 1995 from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He went on to complete an internal medicine residency, chief medical residency and his fellowship in Cardiology at the University of Michigan Medical School.

B.K. Singh, MD, FACC Cardiologist
Doing research, teaching at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, and then seeing it all come together in the practice of cardiology has been very rewarding. It is always fulfilling when one helps patients improve their quality of life.
Dr. Singh did his medical training at the Dr. S. N. Medical College in Jodhpur, India. After receiving his M.D., he completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in cardiology at the University of Cincinnati. He also did residencies and fellowships at St. Johns Episcopal Hospital in New York, at the University of Cincinnati Hospital, and the National Heart and Lung Institute in London, England.
Doug Holloway, MD, FACC Cardiologist
What intrigues me most about cardiology is that the heart is a fascinating organ. Our specialty is very concrete and outcomes arent abstract. Through imaging we look at function and measure outcomes very quickly.
Dr. Holloway lists his relationships with patients and their families as the most rewarding aspect of practicing medicine. He earned medical and undergraduate degrees from the University of Missouri in Kansas City.
His medical specialty is clinical cardiology, and he was the first fellowship-trained Nuclear Cardiologist in the state when he joined Arkansas Cardiology.
Dr. Holloway is board certified in cardiology and internal medicine.

Ramey Marshell, MD Cardiologist
"When a patient chooses to form a partnership with me, it is my intent to help guide them toward a better quality life with reduced burden of cardiovascular disease. My ideal path for treatment would be to optimize primary preventive measures and to achieve a complete heart healthy lifestyle for my patients; however, as disease develops and clinical events occur, I want my patients to know I will be there with them and will do everything I can to work with them to prevent future cardiovascular illness."
