Kristine Patterson, M.D., is an associate professor in the Department of Internal Medicine in the Division of Infectious Disease. Dr. Patterson received her medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine. She completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Alice Alexander, M.D., is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of General Internal Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine. She is also the Vice-Chair of Education in the Department of Internal Medicine. She received her Bachelor of Science in biology from Hendrix College and her medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). She completed a residency in both internal medicine and pediatrics at UAMS as well, serving as Chief Resident in her final year. Dr. Alexander is board certified in both internal medicine and pediatrics. Dr. Alexander sees patients in the UAMS Internal Medicine Clinic.

Hazel "Kathy" Liverett, M.D., is an assistant professor of medicine in the Department of Infectious Diseases. She received her Bachelor of Science from University of Central Arkansas, where she was in the Honors College. She received her Doctor of Medicine from University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences; where she then went on to complete both her residency in internal medicine and pediatrics and her fellowship in infectious diseases. She is board-certified in internal medicine, pediatrics, adult infectious diseases, as well as pediatric infectious diseases. Dr. Liverett is a physician in the UAMS Health Infectious Disease Clinic.

Dr. Bradsher is a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases in the Department of Internal Medicine. He received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Arkansas and his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He then completed residency training at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Md., followed by fellowship training in infectious diseases at Vanderbilt Hospital and Vanderbilt VA Hospital. Dr. Bradsher is board certified in internal medicine and infectious diseases by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Bradsher sees patients in the Infectious Disease Clinic at UAMS.

Ryan Dare, M.D., joined the Infectious Diseases Division in July 2016. He and his wife, Dr. Shannon Dare (Anesthesia), are originally from Arkansas and both attended UAMS for medical school. He completed an Internal Medicine residency in 2014 and an Infectious Diseases fellowship in 2016, both at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Dr. Shannon Dare also joined as faculty in the department of Anesthesia here at UAMS in July 2016. Dr. Dare treats patients in the UAMS Infectious Disease Clinic.
