Dr. Newbern has been an orthopedic surgeon in Little Rock since 1992. His subspecialty training is in reconstruction of the hip and knee. After completing medical school at UAMS and orthopedic residency at Georgetown University Medical Center, he completed fellowship training in hip and knee replacement at The Center for Hip and Knee Surgery in Mooresville, Indiana. The goal of his practice is to provide expert treatment of hip and knee problems with use of arthroscopy, partial (unicompartmental) and total knee replacement, total hip replacement, mini-incision hip replacement, realignment procedures (avoiding joint replacement), and revision hip and knee replacements (when the prosthesis has failed).

Dr. Eric Gordon specializes in care of knee and shoulder problems, fracture care, and sports-related injuries. In particular he enjoys treating all conditions of the knee from minor procedures to full reconstruction. He serves as team physician and orthopaedic surgeon for the Arkansas Travelers, Arkansas Baptist College, North Little Rock High School, Catholic High School, and Mount St. Mary Academy. In addition, he serves as the medical director for Junior Deputy baseball in Little Rock. He is a member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

Dr. Michael Hussey is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon whose practice is dedicated solely to the study and treatment of all shoulder and elbow injuries. His extensive training has allowed him to treat all complex problems, ranging from sports injuries to arthritis. Dr. Hussey is conservative in his treatment approach, always looking for a non-surgical approach to the patient first and reserving surgery as the final option. His ultimate goal is to restore mobility and power to the injured arm, so that patients can get back to enjoying their hobbies and life again.

Richard D. Peek, MD, is a much beloved orthopedic spine surgeon who specializes in surgical treatments of degenerative problems, trauma and tumors of the cervical and lumbar spine. He has a special interest and skill in minimally invasive surgery of the spine using microscopic and laparoscopic techniques. He earned his medical doctorate from the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences, where he also completed his residency in orthopedic surgery. He completed his orthopedic surgeon fellowship at the California Spine Surgery Medical Group.

Dr. Wirges was born in Russellville, AR, and attended Arkansas Tech University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and chemistry. He then enrolled at the University of Arkansas for Medical Science and was awarded a Doctor of Medicine degree. Dr. Wirges completed his medical training with a surgical internship and general surgery residency at Texas Tech University and an orthopedic surgeon fellowship with Kleinert, Kutz and Associates Hand Care Center in Louisville, KY.
