Dr. Newbern has been an orthopedic surgeon in Little Rock since 1992. His subspecialty training is in reconstruction of the hip and knee. After completing medical school at UAMS and orthopedic residency at Georgetown University Medical Center, he completed fellowship training in hip and knee replacement at The Center for Hip and Knee Surgery in Mooresville, Indiana. The goal of his practice is to provide expert treatment of hip and knee problems with use of arthroscopy, partial (unicompartmental) and total knee replacement, total hip replacement, mini-incision hip replacement, realignment procedures (avoiding joint replacement), and revision hip and knee replacements (when the prosthesis has failed).

He then enrolled at the University of Arkansas for Medical Science and was awarded a Doctor of Medicine degree. Dr. Wirges completed his medical training with a surgical internship and general surgery residency at Texas Tech University and an orthopedic surgeon fellowship with Kleinert, Kutz and Associates Hand Care Center in Louisville, KY.

Eric H. Gordon, M.D. Orthopedic surgeon
Dr. Eric Gordon specializes in care of knee and shoulder problems, fracture care, and sports-related injuries.
