About
HFA is a black-owned art gallery representing local, regional, national, and international artists of African descent. Mediums include paintings, drawings, mixed media, and sculpture produced by emerging, mid-career, and master artists. Services offered are portrait commissions, art consultations, and art appraisals. We also provide conservation framing and hanging services. Established in 1988 by gallery director Garbo Hearne, HFA has since grown into a dynamic conduit for the preservation and promotion of African-American art.
