Amick is an adult-gerontology clinical nurse specialist and adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner, board-certified by the American Academy Nurse Credentialing Center, and licensed by the state of Arkansas to provide comprehensive health care to adult patients. She joined the UAMS Department of Internal Medicine in 2016. As an advanced practice nurse, she works independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care providers to care for patients with a variety of obesity and diabetic-related diagnosis.
