Joseph Henske, M.D., is the director of the diabetes program at UAMS Health. Before joining UAMS in 2019, he worked in full-time clinical practice and served as the department chair of endocrinology for DuPage Medical Group in Chicago, IL. He is involved in the teaching and training of resident physicians and endocrinology fellows at UAMS, both in the inpatient and outpatient settings. Dr. Lindsey Sward, a native of Conway, Arkansas, completed her medical degree at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2009. There she received the Roberts Key award given the graduating senior with the highest scholastic grade point average. She was also named to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society. Dr. Sward went on to complete her residency in obstetrics and gynecology, also at UAMS. Dr. Sward joined the UAMS Obstetrics and Gynecology staff in 2015. Megan Baber, D.O., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics, in the Division of Neonatology. Dr. Baber received her medical degree from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine at Virginia Tech. She completed her pediatric residency at UAMS/Arkansas Children's Hospital. Prior to her career in medicine, Dr. Baber studied biochemistry and molecular biology at Harding, where she received an undergraduate research grant from NASA. She worked in a medical clinic and as a teacher before completing a global health internship in Jinja, Uganda.

Dr. Alqurini joined the department of Internal Medicine at UAMS as an Assistant Professor in 2019. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Jordan in Amman, Jordan. She studied internal medicine at the university of Jordan and obtained the Jordanian Board Certificate in Internal Medicine. Following that she finished her nephrology training and obtained the Jordanian Board Certification in Nephrology. Paige Beck, M.D., Ph.D., serves as Medical Director for the UAMS House Calls Program and teaches in the Baptist-UAMS Family Medicine Residency Program in addition to her regular clinical work.

Dr. Bradsher is a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases in the Department of Internal Medicine. He received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Arkansas and his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He then completed residency training at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Md., followed by fellowship training in infectious diseases at Vanderbilt Hospital and Vanderbilt VA Hospital. Dr. Bradsher is board certified in internal medicine and infectious diseases by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Bradsher sees patients in the Infectious Disease Clinic at UAMS.
