In 2002, Jill Fussell, M.D., accepted an appointment in the UAMS College of Medicine as a clinical instructor of pediatrics in the Section of Developmental Pediatrics and Habilitative Medicine. She was promoted to assistant professor in 2003, to associate professor with tenure in 2008 and promoted to professor in 2017. She served as associate program director of the UAMS Pediatrics Residency from 2004 to 2008. She assumed the role of director of the Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics Fellowship in 2007, and continues in this role currently. She served as the chief of the Developmental Pediatrics and Habilitative Medicine Section from 2018 to 2023, at which time she was appointed as Vice Chair of Fellowship Education within the UAMS D...
